Office Space and Real Estate

Office Space is an American black comedy movie written and directed by Tim Matheson. It satirizes the typical day life of an average mid to late 90’s technology business, focusing on a few disenchanted employees tired of their boring jobs. The main character,Bob,is forced into an unusual situation when his boss tells him to quit his job after only a couple months or face a demotion and/or firing. Bob,who is more concerned with his personal life than his work, does not want to take that risk. Bob decides to stay at his old position, and eventually begins to feel that it is better to be an employee than a wage slave. Eventually, however,Bob discovers that there are more benefits in working from home than he ever thought possible.

Although the movie was made in 1999,the office space is not that much cheaper today than it was back then. Of course, this is because the economy is in a state of flux, and many businesses are struggling and trying to cut costs wherever they can. It is not always easy to find a good, stable employer willing to pay you more than minimum wage for an hour of work, even if they offer perks like company buses and free food and drinks. However,if you are willing to work hard and make an effort to build your personal network, you can find some really good office space options in your area. You do not need to worry about any lease restrictions, either, since most office buildings have reasonable lease agreements. Of course, you will need to find out what your local laws are regarding renting office space, and whether or not your chosen company is willing to adhere to these rules in order to obtain a lease from a landlord. It may be a good idea to hire a lawyer who specializes in real estate law,in order to ensure that you do not make any legal mistakes.

One last thing to keep in mind when searching for office space is that you should never choose the first office building you see. Most companies are more interested in having a place that is appealing to clients and potential customers than they are in actually providing you with quality office space. Therefore, try to look at several properties before making final decisions, and then only commit to one company.
